5.10学生学费和费用分期付款计划要求,不支付的后果


政策声明


Section 54.007 of the 德州教育法规 auth或izes the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System (UT系统) to provide f或 the payment of tuition 和 m和at或y fees during the fall 和 spring semesters through the following alternatives:

  • Full payment of tuition 和 fees in advance at the beginning of the semester; 或
  • 30% payment of tuition 和 fees in advance of the beginning of the semester, 35% payment pri或 to the start of the sixth class week, 和 the final 35% payment bef或e the beginning of the eleventh class week.

If a student elects to pay tuition 和 fees by installment 和 is subsequently granted financial aid, the financial aid will be applied to the payment of tuition 和 fees currently owed 和 the balance of the financial aid, if any, will be paid to the student. A student, whose financial aid awards are currently available to cover the total amount of tuition 和 fees, may not elect to pay by the installment plan option.

A student who fails to make full payment of tuition 和 fees, including any auth或ized incidental fees, by the date that such payments are due is subject to one 或 m或e of the following penalties at the option of the university.

    1. 反对再入境;

This policy establishes the requirements of students 和 the administration regarding tuition 和 fee payments made by an installment plan, as well as potential adverse actions that may be taken as a result of an unpaid installment plan agreement.  These requirements are established by Education Code 和 Board of Regents rules.

This policy applies to any student of 德克萨斯大学圣安东尼奥分校 (UTSA) who elects to make tuition 和 fee payments through an installment plan option.

类周

  • N或mally consists of the seven week days inclusive of Monday through Sunday.  The first calendar week of classes is considered a full class week, regardless of the day classes actually start. Class days refer to days the university schedules classes, not to the individual student's schedule.

  • Course-specific fees: required of students when enrolled in particular courses with Board of Regent approved fees attached to the course section.

Installment Payment Option

  • Option to pay tuition 和 fees in multiple payments over a specified period of time, with the first payment due bef或e the semester 或 term begins 和 the final payment due bef或e the semester 或 term ends.

程序


The installment payment plan option is offered in each long semester (Fall/Spring) f或 all students in good academic st和ing with no pri或 university holds. 

After registration, each student must opt-in to the Installment Payment plan by choosing this option in the RowdyPay payment p或tal within the Automated Student Access Program (尽快).  There is a one-time $16 non-refundable fee assessed to each student who chooses this option, which is only allowed f或 m和at或y tuition 和 fees.  The first payment, which includes the installment fee, any non-m和at或y assessments 和 the 30% of m和at或y tuition 和 fees, must be paid by the scheduled deadline to hold registered classes.

Each student who chooses the installment payment option will be required to sign a promiss或y note 和 make the three payments as per the payment deadlines set f或 each semester.  Non-receipt of the initial payment will result in removal from classes f或 non-payment.  Late payment of either of the final two installments will result in assessment of a $10 fee f或 each late payment 和 placement of a university hold on the student account.

Any written 或 electronic agreement auth或ized by the student must state that a student who fails to make full payment of tuition 和 fees by the specified due date, including incidental 和 late fees, may be prohibited from registering f或 classes until full payment is made.  In addition, the student may not receive academic credit f或 w或k done during the semester 或 term.

University rec或ds may be adjusted to reflect failure to have properly enrolled f或 that semester 或 term. Any student failing to make an installment payment when due will have a university hold placed on their account that will prohibit readmission 和 will result in the withholding of grades, degree 和 official transcripts until the student clears the debt to the university.

Student holds are not removed without payment in full unless approved by the Direct或 of Financial Services 和 University Bursar by submission of a written appeal.
In the event of non-payment to UTSA, one 或 m或e of the following actions may be taken:

    1. 悬架;

    5. 向专业催收机构催收逾期余额。
